Missouri State Representative Nick Schroer (R-St. Charles) has prefiled legislation, HB 501, to criminalize disclosure of medical marijuana patient registry information to the federal government or any third party.
We previously wrote about this legislation and the prohibition in federal law on owning or using firearms if you are user of a federally prohibited controlled substance. The Biden Administration has committed to ending federal criminal penalties and descheduling or rescheduling marijuana, which would eliminate the infringement on Americans' 2nd Amendment rights for using legal marijuana.
We commend Rep. Schroer for his continued work to defend the 2nd Amendment rights or legal marijuana users.
