We Commend Mayor Jayson Stewart (Cool Valley MO) for His Leadership on Psilocybin & Marijuana Reform

On Sunday, August 16, 2020, Mayor Jayson Stewart of Cool Valley, Missouri, announced on Twitter that he was pardoning all municipal marijuana and psilocybin offenders:




Mayor Stewart becomes the second Mayor in Missouri to pardon municipal marijuana offenders, after Mayor Quinton Lucas of Kansas City, and the first to pardon psilocybin mushroom offenders. The city of Cool Valley is located in North County St. Louis, bordering Ferguson and Normandy.


On Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020, Mayor Stewart joined the KWOS Morning Show with Austin Petersen & Jon Marsh to discuss his initiative (starts around the 2:30:00 mark):



The Crossing Paths Political Action Committee commends Mayor Stewart on his groundbreaking work to fix the harms of the War on Drugs through the use of executive clemency.
